Harvard Club of Australia – Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

Thursday 26 November 2026 | 7.00–10.00 pm
Union, University & Schools Club, 25 Bent Street Sydney

We warmly invite you to join us for the Harvard Club of Australia's annual Thanksgiving Dinner, a much-loved tradition bringing together members, friends and guests for an evening of good food, lively conversation and fellowship.

Thanksgiving is, of course, a time for giving thanks, and we look forward to continuing this tradition with a festive turkey dinner served with all the customary trimmings.

We are especially delighted to welcome Jeremy Cornforth, U.S. Consul General for New South Wales, Queensland and Norfolk Island, as our guest speaker for the evening.

A career member of the U.S. Senior Foreign Service since 1998, Mr Cornforth brings extensive international diplomatic experience, having served in Jerusalem, the Dominican Republic, India, Tunisia, Lebanon and China. He assumed his current role in Sydney in July 2025, following an appointment as Deputy Director of the American Institute in Taiwan. We look forward to hearing his insights and reflections drawn from an accomplished diplomatic career.

In keeping with another favourite Harvard Thanksgiving tradition, we will also share highlights from the 142nd Harvard–Yale football game, taking place on Saturday 21 November at Boston's iconic Fenway Park.

And, as always, there will be plenty of opportunities to catch up with fellow alumni, make new connections and enjoy the company of our Harvard community.

Whether you are based in Sydney or visiting from interstate or overseas, we would be delighted to have you join us for this special evening.
