An Evening with Harvard Professor Steven Pinker

Queensland members are invited to an event next year with Harvard Professor Steven Pinker on the 5th February 2026.  Steven is a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and known as one of the world’s “most influential public intellectuals."  

He is an acclaimed cognitive psychologist and author of The Better Angels of Our Nature and Enlightenment Now.  He is coming to Australia for the very first time for a three-city speaking tour where he will explore the forces shaping human progress, the role of reason in our turbulent times, and why optimism is still a rational choice. In a rare live appearance, you’ll experience his ideas firsthand: unfiltered, thought-provoking, and deeply relevant to our shared future.
