LUNCHTIME SERIES WITH R.G. MENZIES SCHOLAR TIGER LIN
Harvard, the current administration and the rule of law in the United States
The Club is delighted to host Tiger Lin, incoming Associate to the Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia and winner of the prestigious R.G. Menzies Scholarship in 2024. Tiger has had the privilege of a front row seat in Cambridge, MA for the ongoing disputes between Harvard and the current administration, and the administration’s challenges to the rule of law more generally. He has kindly agreed to share his on-the-ground perspectives on these critical issues for Harvard and the United States, with plenty of time for Q&As.
Before studying constitutional law and administrative law at Harvard Law School as part of his LLM degree, Tiger worked as a judge’s associate at the Federal Court of Australia in Sydney and as an academic at The Australian National University (ANU). He has also worked in private practice at Herbert Smith Freehills and in the Attorney-General’s Department in Canberra. Tiger holds Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics degrees from ANU.
