Call for Nominations - Wolfensohn Scholarship Program Leader
The Board of the Harvard Club of Australia are seeking a successor to role of Program Leader for the Wolfensohn Scholarship Program.
This Scholarship Program was initiated in 2012 with the support of Sir James Wolfensohn, Patron of the Harvard Club of Australia and former head of the World Bank. This scholarship program is designed to offer a transformational experience to outstanding, high potential civil servants, and to recognise and reward their service to Australia. These scholarships are offered to Senior Public Servants from Federal, State and Territory Governments to attend a short Executive Program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. A number of senior club members support the selection process. There have been 25 scholarships awarded since the Program was established.
Voluntary time commitment is estimated at 4 to 5 hours per month with greater time commitment required during the selection process, which usually occurs in November.
The ideal candidate for this role is a graduate from HKS with a keen interest in government, having strong project leadership skills, and ambitious to build an influential network of public sector leaders.
