End of Financial Year Annual Donation to the Harvard Club of Australia Foundation
It has been a privilege to serve as President of the Harvard Club of Australia for the past two years. Prior to becoming President, I thought I knew the activities of the Club but what I have learnt during this time is the extraordinary generosity of spirit and selflessness of so many members. Members who have benefitted from their time at Harvard University and quietly behind the scenes enable other Australians to have the same opportunity. Thank you to these Members for making our community stronger.
Whilst Covid may have slowed or changed some of our activities, we have continued to focus on building the pipeline for our next generation of learners. In 2022 we have awarded 3 R.G. Menzies, 2 Ferris Family Non-Profit, and 1 School Principal Scholarships and some Australia Harvard Fellowship exchanges have also occurred. It is exciting to know there will be more Australians back on the Harvard University campus soon.
As we head towards the Harvard Club of Australia’s 60th AGM, we are pleased to launch our End of Financial Year fundraising campaign to continue to support our philanthropic and scholarship work, which has become as important to maintain our capability to send leaders to Harvard as ever before. The Harvard Club of Australia Foundation & Philanthropy continues its work in distributing the generous donations and bequeaths to over 8 scholarship programs. To find out more visit our website.
As we approach the end of this financial year and prepare for many events and activities for our 60th Anniversary I ask you to consider making a donation to the Harvard Club of Australia Foundation. You will be issued with a Tax receipt and for Alumni of HBS your donation in Australia is recognised in your class giving.
