Scholarships Available for HBS GNE Virtual program for nonprofit board leaders

HBS are offering new, limited scholarship funding for the Governing for Nonprofit Excellence – Virtual 2021 (GNEV) Executive Education program in October.

GNEV will take place online on Thursday, Oct. 21 from 9 am to 1 pm ET, and Monday, Oct. 25 through Friday, Oct. 29 from 8 am to 1 pm ET daily. Please visit our online brochure for more details, including the schedule. GNEV focuses on four essential competencies of nonprofit governance—board leadership, strategic stewardship, performance measurement, and financial oversight—and enabling nonprofit board chairs and other board leaders to drive strategic and organizational transformation. The virtual program will deliver all the hallmark elements of our Executive Education classrooms: live case-based learning with HBS faculty, dynamic and highly interactive discussion, and in-depth networking opportunities with peers. To learn more about the virtual program experience from past participants, candidates can visit our Virtual Programs site.

Interested candidates can apply online to GNEV. Candidates can find information about how to apply for the scholarship opportunity here, and should apply to both the program and the scholarship by September 1st in order to be considered for a scholarship; limited funding is available. The program fee is $3,750, and covers tuition, e-books, and online case materials. Scholarship awards range from partial to full scholarships.

This program is appropriate for HBS alumni as well; alumni who participate in GNE often comment that GNE was an important part of their lifelong learning goals, and provided perspectives and frameworks that were not a part of their MBA experience.
