In less than three years, Antler has become the largest early stage VC in the world. Since Harvard alum Bede Moore launched the Sydney operations two years ago, Antler has created and invested in 41 companies via their bi-annual cohorts. ABOUT Bede Moore

Bede Moore (‘06) has a remarkable track record building startups and supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Australia and abroad. Before founding Antler Australia as the Managing Partner, EO (now Executive Chairman) of Sydney’s peak technology industry body, TechSydney. He was the Co-founder and Managing Director of Indonesia’s largest eCommerce site, Lazada, which was acquired by Alibaba in 2017 for US$3.5 bn, General Manager of Australasia for Student.com, the world’s largest online marketplace for student accommodation and one of WIRED Magazine’s Top 100 European startups in 2016, and Co-founder of Paraplou Group from 2012 to 2015, an online fashion group in Indonesia providing both eCommerce services to foreign and domestic brands and also operating its own fashion sites. 

 Bede was responsible for the delivery (in partnership with Reinventure) of the Women in Venture Program, a unique series of events aimed and providing information and training to young women about the Venture Capital industry and how to value companies.
