Governing after conflict: designing effective interventions

The Harvard Club of Australia’s Defence and National Security Special Interest Group is pleased to announce its next event with Dr Catherine O’Riordan on November 18th at 6pm Daylight Savings Time. Given some recent discussions on regime change and the cessation of conflicts in parts of the Mid-East, Asia and some South American nations, please join us in a team’s video conference where Catherine will discuss the highly topical issue of “Governing after conflict: designing effective interventions.”
Catherine is a graduate of the Australian National University, Harvard Kennedy School and Trinity College Dublin. She has worked for Commonwealth and State Governments in the areas of human rights, legal and regulatory policy roles, and has held positions on non-profit boards, as a community mediator and, as a member of the Australian Copyright Tribunal. Her PhD thesis in Political Science deals with Post Conflict Governments and the reasons why some succeed, and others do not.
