Please join our online event with last year’s Harvard Innovation Challenge winners in the Health & Life Sciences track – the top of 300 teams from across Harvard’s 13 schools, and the first Australian winning team. 

InConfidence (www.inconfidence.io) is a venture focused on reducing one of the world's largest chronic impairments - urinary incontinence. The key InConfidence technology is a smart patch worn on the ankle, which stimulates a nerve to reduce urinary incontinence symptoms. This technology revolutionises management of urinary incontinence and makes a previously invasive or burdensome in-clinic therapy available discreetly at home.

It was founded by Dr Helena Franco (MMS’23), Mr Nick Agahari, Dr Martin Jensen, Dr Mihir Shanker and Dr Danielle Delaney. Dr Franco is a Queensland native, Harvard Club of Australia Menzies Scholar, and nominee for Young Australian of the Year in 2019. Mr Agahari and Dr Jensen participated in the Harvard HealthTech Fellowship in 2022. 

InConfidence has raised over $11M through a combination of non-dilutive funds, non-dilutive prize money, venture capital and family offices. The team's current focus is on clinical trials and health economic studies to strengthen the regulatory and reimbursement submissions, along with the value propositions for market entry into Australia (~6 million patients), the USA and Japan.
