You are warmly invited to celebrate Thanksgiving in Sydney - Thursday 25th November

As most of us emerge from lockdowns we, more than ever, wish to celebrate Thanksgiving and truly give thanks with HCA events around Australia. In Queensland this year they will celebrate 30 years of Thanksgiving dinners. In New South Wales this will be our first dinner. Other Thanksgiving events in Perth and Adelaide will also be firsts. 

We will be linking by zoom with our colleagues in other states and with our President, Elizabeth Carr, in Perth. And we look forward to a ’state of origin’ quiz battle with our Queensland members and sharing the true spirit of Thanksgiving around our dinner tables.
 

We will be having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with the turkey being carved by the chef in front of us, and with other American dishes for the occasion, including clam chowder and pumpkin and pecan pies. It will be a fun evening for members and their partners!

Time: 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm    (Please be seated by 7.30 pm when the welcoming zoom will commence)

Venue: The Carabella Room, Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, 33 Peel Street, Kirribilli, NSW 2061

Price: $155.00 per person

This includes the 3-course traditional roast turkey dinner and a generous drinks package. There will be an alternate drop for entrees but set meal for mains so please advise any dietary requests. 

Covid-19 requirements under the NSW Health Regulations and the Squadron’s conditions of entry: 

• All guests must be double vaccinated and show their Covid-19 certificate on entry to the Squadron.

•  Masks are required in the Squadron.
