At the recent HBS Info Night in November, there was the offer to participate in a case study discussion.

As we said on November 3:

The Case Method is the renowned approach to teaching and learning pursued over the entire two years of the  Harvard Business School MBA degree. It relies on active class participation around issues drawn from real life.

As a taste of that remarkable pedagogy, we offer you an opportunity to participate in a case study.

Venue:  The Sydney CBD offices of McKinsey & Company, Level 35, 88 Philip Street

Date: Tuesday, 7 February, 2023

Timing:  Meet at 5:30, mingle, tea/coffee

Case study session starts at 6:00 sharp and ends at 8:00, including a mid-session breakout in  smaller groups for 20 minutes

Depart by 8:30

Case options:

We will use one of these two cases. Please indicate your preference (if any) when booking. The Parable of the Sadhu: a New York investment banker confronts personal responsibility and  moral dilemma while climbing in the Himalayas

Leadership Lessons from the American Civil War: a young Colonel faces a critical decision and  its consequences the day before Gettysburg. * * *

We expect a spirited discussion and look forward to seeing you again (or, in person, for the first time)
